Hmm. Snappy dialog! I know all my smart friends speak like this.
I kid, of course. All in all, it's a pretty clunky paragraph. One suspects it was fairly clumsy to begin with, and that translation into English didn't improve anything.

It's probably reverse product placement by the competition, Godiva and Leonidas.
The topicality of google ads only goes so far. One wonders if the brand identity Fran really wishes to create for her artisanal hand-made truffles and award-winning caramels is that of child-molesting bait.
